TIPS for using IVRS
- To skip initial welcome messages etc., Press 1 (one) three times for English when you start hearing the Welcome message.
- Similarly, Press 1 then 2 and then 1 for Malayalam.
- Press HASH (#) after Establishment code / Employee Number / SB account Number for the system to stop accepting and to start the next action. Eg. If your establishment code is 12345, key in 12345#
- No need to press #, if the input is of fixed length. eg. Mobile Number, Date/Month/year etc.
- You need not wait till the completion of any message for pressing the next required key. You can press the relevent key when you start hearing the voice demanding the key press.

- IVRS telephone number is (0471)-2449544. After 3 rings, call will be connected to IVRS.
- Information from Regional Office, Thiruvananthapurm (Kerala) is available now.

- The Input required for items 1,2,3 & 4 are Establishment code and Employee Number. If the establishment has extension,
then only the same will be asked. Then you have to press 2 if the Extension is B and so on..
- For the item 5, you can key in PPO number also.
- Some Security measures are incorporated for items 2 & 3. For 2, you have to feed the digits in your SB account number so as to access additional information like settled amount etc.
- Similarly, you have to key in the Date of Birth to know the balance.
- The reason 'why your pension stopped' is sent to your mobile as an instant SMS
- In case your application is not received at EPF office and if you are sure that you have submitted it there in your office, you may register for alert SMS , which will be sent to the mobile, when your application gets registered in the EPF office computer.
- Similary, if your application is having the status 'Processing', you may register for an alert SMS, which will be sent to the mobile, when the status of your application changes to as Settled.
