When an application reaches EPF office, it will go through different stages till the case is settled. This website is capable of showing the following 8 statuses of the applications

1 Processing Application received in the office and its validity and other aspects are checked
2 Likely to be settled If the application is found valid, dealing officer feeds the details into computer and the amount likely to be sanctioned is arrived and the case is put-up for further scrutiny
3 SettlingThe application is ok and cheque is being printed
4 SettledThe cheque despatched
5 Likely to be Returned When dealing officer checks the application and if he finds some defects, prepares a letter to member/ employer on computer and put-up the application for return/rejection
6 Returned The defective application is returned to member/ employer for corrective measures
7 Rejected As ineligible, the case is rejected
8 Transferred to other officeAs the application is to be processed at a different EPF office, the application is forwarded to the relevant office for further processing. (This is not connected with EPF BALANCE transfer. Request for EPF Balance transfer in Form-13 will be processed and applicable status will be posted at this site)
