(ECR upload and Challan preparation)
From April- 2012, Establishments need NOT submit the Returns like Form-5,Form10, Form-12A, Form-3A and Form-6A. (Preparation of Form-2 remains unchanged)Instead they have to UPLOAD a single Return viz. Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) at the site: http://esewa.epfoservices.in After Upload of ECR, Challan can be printed and due amount should be remitted using this challan at State Bank of India Branch before the due date which remains unchanged.

(a)Use Internet Exployer 7 or above (or use Chrome,Firefox etc) to get display of sub-menues, (b). You should NOT Enter the Challan for current year at the E-SEWA site - First you have to upload ECR (c) Challan for previous years can be ENTERED and Printed at E-Sewa site (d) Each line in the ECR file should contain 24 numbers of #~# so as to have 25 fields (else 001 Error).

carrying details of name & account number and IFS Code of the Bank Branch along with the applicaiton/claim form (eg. From-19, Form1-10C..).
